At Cave & Crag we provide a boot fitting service second to none. We would strongly recommend that you take advantage of this service by visiting one of our stores, but if that is not possible, please buy on-line. If the shoe does not fit, we will change the size for you provided that they are returned to us in new condition, and have NOT been worn outside.

When chosing the size of boot you need, you should allow 1/2 to 1 full size larger than your normal shoe size. This will give space to accomodate thicker socks, and provide suffucient space at the toe end of your boot to prevent problems.

For training and approach shoes, you may not wish to wear thick socks in which case, your normal shoe size should suffice

Where relevant, we give continental sizes with UK equivellants in brackets.

Although modern boots have been designed to give a good comfortable fit, you must bear in mind that most walking footwear will need some breaking-in.

To keep footwear in good condition, you must use the correct proofing treatment. This will be recommended with the products.
