Moorland Gritstone (Chew Valley)

The high-level crags of the Peak District which are encompassed within the Moorland Gritstone area are a world apart from the popular edges such as Stanage etc. These areas although not always popular with mainstream climbers, nevertheless contain some of the best natural gritstone climbing, the most serious quarry routes, the unexpected, the most scenic situations, and certainly more unclimbed rock the elsewhere on Peak gritstone. Areas covered:--- Uppermill area, The Broadstones & Dick Hill Edges, Chew Valley area.
