Compiled by John Harwood & Dave Viggers. Pembroke's continued popularity has meant that there are now so many climbs that the Climbers Club have had to produce this guide in two volumes (In one cover). There are two distinct areas for climbing. The south coast provides steep limestone which, although only usually a rope length in height, gives fine exposed climbs often on very rough rock. By contrast, the north coast gives quieter cliffs often of gabbro or dolerite rock. Within both areas there is a good balance of routes from the very hardest to climbs suitable for beginers. The area covered is too wide ranging to list here.
