Matrix Light from expert maker Grivel is a feather weight ice tool for alpinists.
At only 515 grams it is an ideal choice for climbers who prefer the reduced weight and easy handling of a simple tool that retains all the great characteristics of a Grivel ice tool.
Hot forged head in chromolly steel: no compromise over quality. The angle of the shaft is high up as this maximises the distance between the shaft and the anchorage points. The straight lower section of the shaft makes penetration easier even in hard snow.
The updated version now comes with the NEW Grivel Tech Leash, a rubberised handle and the Grivel Horn for comfortable and efficient support.
